Authenticity is an important part of how I source for My Archive Affair. Every piece is selected individually and carefully inspected before it is listed, so you can shop vintage designer pieces with confidence.

My Authentication Process

Each item is examined individually, with attention to the details specific to its brand and era. Depending on the piece, this includes materials, construction, stitching, hardware, soles, labels, stamps, serial numbers and other identifying markings. These details are checked against verified references and known characteristics of the brand and period before an item is made available for purchase.

Third-Party Authentication

If you would like additional peace of mind, third-party authentication can be arranged before your order is shipped for a small additional fee. Simply get in touch before purchasing or after placing your order, and I’ll be happy to arrange this for you.

Authenticity Guarantee

Every piece sold by My Archive Affair is guaranteed to be authentic. If an item is found not to be authentic by a recognised and trusted authentication service, a full refund will be issued, provided the authentication is completed and the report is submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.
